'Remixing Is Just Another Form Of DJing Vol. 1' contains 13 remixes by Ben Gomori — and his G. Markus alter ego — plucked from the catalogue of his label Monologues Records. Ranging from deep house to acidic breakbeat and tribal afro-tinged flavours to electro-tinged reworks, this compilation reflects Gomori's manifold tastes and the breadth of talent to have come through the label's doors since it was founded in 2015. The title describes his approach to remixing — and indeed production in general — in so much that he sees reinterpreting tracks in new lights and combining different sounds and textures as a microcosm of his time spent in the DJ booth.
